Edinburgh City have agreed personal terms with free agent Naobh O’Donoghue who becomes the third signing for ‘The Citizens’ during the transfer window.
The club have picked up a former SKL Champion, with Naobh having played for the incredibly successful Saint Andrews dynasty who picked up multiple titles from 2009-2012. She rejoins David Ewing and Emma Cottell who were also part of the championship side.
Naobh has come back from a spell in London and expressed her excitement at getting back on court “Obviously I’m very pleased to be signing for City. It didn’t work out for me down South; so after taking a short break from the game I am delighted to return North of the border.” She added “I’m looking forward to kicking on from here and I’m happy to be joining some Saints legends already playing for City.”
It’s possible that Noabh will make her debut for the club at the local Mavs Mania tournament and fans will be keen to get their first sight of City’s newest star.
