Edinburgh City had a day out at Swanston last Saturday, warming up their competitive spirit with a round of DiscGolf.
Some of the group met a little earlier at Swanston’s Brasserie for some top-notch food before taking to the course.
Eleven Citizens in total took on the Swanston DiscGolf course. Splitting into three groups, with Dave and Ailith Ewing being joined by Jacky Mo to make up Team 1. Dan Pratt, Simon Vandeiken, Rob Harding and Chris Brown were team 2. Leaving Team 3 consisting of Ella Paul, Katrina Caldwell, Chris Horsley and Andrew Goode.
The course was tricky, with trees, rivers and bridges hindering our route on each hole. Some of us struggled enough to keep our discs on the course without the obstacles!
Despite that, it was really enjoyable and everyone had a nice day which finished up back in the Brasserie for a drink and dessert for some.
