President

Name: Katrina Caldwell

Katrina is about to embark on her second term as our great and benevolent leader.  As president she is responsible for decision-making within the club and ensuring that everything is running smoothly.

 

Secretary

Name: Andrew Goode

Andrew got involved in the running of the club as an ordinary member of the committee last year and when the opportunity for some diligent note-taking as the secretary came up he understandably couldn’t turn it down.

 

 

Treasurer

Name: Rob Stone

As treasurer Rob is in charge of keeping on top of the club’s finances from ensuring membership fees are up-to-date through to ensuring there’s enough money for balls, kit, sports halls and so on, so we all have to be very nice to Rob.

 

Fixtures Secretary

Name: Adam Hardy

Adam is the newest member of the committee having only started korfball in the last year.  As fixtures secretary he’s tasked with arranging venues and referees for all our home fixtures for all three teams!  Note: Adam is on the left in the photo.

 

Club Development Officer

Name: Dan Pratt

Club development is a new position this year combining the previous roles of fundraiser and recruitment and as such the club development officer is generally responsible for helping to grow the club.  What better choice than Dan, who has at one time or another held almost every conceivable position a korfball committee could have.

 

Referee and Coach Development

Name: Ella Paul

Taking on another position new to this season, Ella brings a wealth of experience playing and coaching at the highest level to the role and she is sure to ensure the club’s coaches and referees have every ability to develop and progress.

Publicity

Name: Dave Ewing

Another hold-over from last year’s committee, Dave (rear of the photo) is the “Publicity Officer”, which is a fancy term for website guy and occasional facebook poster.

 

 

 

Social Secretaries

Names: Christie Smillie and Laura de Nooij

Responsible for making sure we have just as much fun off the court as on it are Laura (far left) and Christie (far right)!
