Korfball is a fast-paced team game and is the world’s only mixed-sex sport recognised at an international level. The sport was invented by Dutch school teacher Nico Broekhuysen in 1902. In the Netherlands, there are around 580 clubs and over 100,000 people playing the sport. Edinburgh City Korfball Club are the oldest club in Scotland and 6-times champions.
Beginners and new members are always welcome and we have teams competing at all levels, so there are always opportunities for players of all abilities.
